Alexandra Lazar is a member of the Corporate/Commercial group in Montréal. Her practice touches on all areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, equity financing and general corporate and commercial matters.
Alexandra has acted for both purchasers and vendors in a wide variety of local, cross-border and international transactions, and has assisted in complex transactions in both the private and public spheres. Her practice focuses primarily on private mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the fields of private equity and venture capital. In addition, she is regularly called upon to advise clients with respect to general corporate matters, commercial agreements, equity financing and corporate reorganizations or restructurings.
Alexandra holds a bachelor’s degree in history and philosophy, as well as her two law degrees (BCL/LLB) from McGill University. She currently serves on the board of the Trevor Williams Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization.
