Evan Conover maintains a broad corporate/commercial and securities law practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate governance in respect of both private and publicly-held companies. He also regularly advises early-stage companies on their formation, corporate governance and financing matters.
Evan graduated from Queen’s University with Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and with a J.D. from the University of Ottawa where he was on the Dean’s Honour List. During his various studies, Evan worked at Manulife Financial, as a tax analyst at First National Financial Corporation, as an intern for a member of Parliament, and as a Global Risk Management Analyst at the Bank of Nova Scotia.
Evan summered at RPM Technologies working for their In-House Counsel. He then articled with Fasken Martineau in 2018 and joined as an associate in 2019.
