Mahsa Pezeshki is a Senior Law Clerk in Fasken’s Charities and Non-Profit Law Group.
Mahsa’s practice is exclusively focused on technical aspects of corporate and tax law pertaining to not-for-profit entities and registered charities. She has extensive experience in establishing and maintaining non-profit corporations and charities, including negotiating governance structure, by-law development, extra-provincial registrations, and fundamental changes. She works closely with non-profit corporations seeking charitable registration and is intimately involved in negotiations and appeals with Canada Revenue Agency with respect to charity applications, audits and compliance related matters. She also lends her advise to mergers, amalgamations, re-organizations and other transactions in the not-for-profit and charitable sectors.
