Patrick Gannon’s practice is focused on labour, employment and human rights. Regularly working with both unionized and non-union workplaces, Patrick advises clients on employment agreements, collective agreement interpretation, union certification, employment standards, wrongful dismissal, workplace safety and insurance as well as human rights and pay equity.
Advising government bodies, such as the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and Pay Equity Commission, Patrick has represented clients before administrative tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeal Tribunal, Employment Standards Branch of the Ministry of Labour, as well as before boards of arbitration.
Regularly assisting employers with their workplace policies and procedures, Patrick is often called on to provide training and instruction on various workplace issues.
