Located in the Taza development, just west of Calgary, only 20 minutes from downtown, the Tsuut’ina office forms an important new connection with our local Indigenous communities. Taza means “something wondrous is coming” in Dené, and constitutes the foundation for unprecedented economic growth for the Tsuut’ina Nation.
This unique, on-reserve location provides a welcoming environment for us to meet with Indigenous groups and representatives in-person in an upscale, convenient and most importantly, accessible meeting place outside of the downtown core.
Land Acknowledgement
At Fasken we have embarked on a journey of reconciliation, guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan. As part of this journey, we believe it is important to acknowledge the land and the people who have called this land home since time immemorial. Today we are gathered at our offices located on the sovereign lands of the Tsuut’ina (Sue-tin-ah) Nation. We appreciate the opportunity to work on these sacred lands and recognize the importance of working to advance reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people here and across Canada.
