Overview

Outsourcing covers a wide range of solutions both in IT and other business processes. As it has evolved from early call centers to all manner of other processes, and lately to hosted solutions, the legal environment and the contractual challenges have also evolved. In this session we explore tips for how to advise clients on the new OSFI Outsourcing Guidelines and other issues pertaining to outsourcing contracting in an era of rising digitization and cloud solutions and next generation technologies such as machine-learning (AI), as well as the attendant distributed system and cybersecurity issues that can make outsourcing arrangements so complex. Implementing enterprise-wide outsourced technology systems requires considerable commitment in time and resources, this presentation will help to narrow your focus on some of the associated challenges and solutions.
