Alexandre Belzile is a civil and commercial litigator in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in our Québec City office. Alexandre focuses his practice on advising clients primarily in the areas of construction law and product liability.
During his career, Alexandre has represented clients in claims arising from major construction projects, applied for business-related injunctions and has represented shareholders in disputes involving oppression as well as in share purchases and sales. With extensive experience in handling large, complex cases, Alexandre has advised clients such as national entities and international manufacturers in their legal disputes in Québec courts, including in the Court of Appeal.
He is also an instructor at the Association de la Construction du Québec (ACQ), where he provides training to future construction contractors about their rights and obligations and has acted in similar capacities at the Association des professionnels de la construction et de l’habitation du Québec (APCHQ). He also acts as a consultant for the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ).
Alexandre enjoys contributing to his community, and is a Scout Leader and has been involved in the Scout Movement for the past decade. He is also the Treasurer of the Young Bar Association of Québec City.
