Andrew Gould practices in all areas of labour, employment and human rights law.
Andrew is an Associate with the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group at Fasken’s Toronto office. Andrew maintains a broad labour and employment practice and represents both unionized and non-unionized employers in a variety of matters.
Andrew’s work experience includes serving as a Research Assistant on projects related to Sports and Corporate Law as well as Intellectual Property Law. His research focused on the corporate governance, structure and financial impact of the on-field and off-field rules on the labour force of the NFL and the use of price discrimination in e-commerce. He was also a Business Continuity Administrator for Sun Life Financial, where he was responsible for overseeing and implementing the conversion of a diverse range of business continuity plans, and a Department Manager for Fastenal Canada.
Andrew graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law where he received the Fasken Achievement in Contract Law Award as well as The Honourable Justice Anthony E. Cusinato Scholarship. As a law student, Andrew developed his passion for advocacy competing in a national Labour Arbitration Moot in 2019 and acting as a coach for Windsor Law’s 2020 team. Prior to law school, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business and Legal Studies at the University of Waterloo where he graduated with Distinction and on the Dean’s Honour List. In his free time, Andrew enjoys golf, biking and baseball and is a passionate fantasy sports player.
Andrew summered at the Firm in 2019 and was seconded to G Adventures. Andrew articled with the Firm in 2020-2021 before joining as an Associate.
