Avinash is developing a broad practice in commercial litigation. Avinash acts for clients in a variety of disputes, including negligence and breach of contract, and supports senior practitioners in areas such as insolvency, energy litigation and employment law.
Avinash obtained his law degree and civil engineering degree from the University of Calgary. During his law studies, Avinash was awarded the Merv Leitch QC Scholarship in Natural Resources Law, Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship, and the second place prize in the William Morrow Essay Competition, writing on energy law and policy. In his third year, Avinash studied international human rights law on exchange at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Avinash summered and articled with Fasken prior to becoming an associate.
