Overview

Brad’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, start-ups and corporate / commercial matters. Brad is known for providing pragmatic and timely legal advice to public and private companies on a broad range of complex transactions.

Brad has extensive experience assisting strategic and financial acquirers and sellers with both domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. In respect of his cross-border M&A experience he advises on transactions throughout the world including North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. Brad also advises clients on corporate reorganizations, corporate governance matters and general corporate / commercial issues.

Brad is the Co-Leader of the Emerging Technology and Venture Capital Group for the Alberta region. In this role, he advises a broad range of participants in the technology sector, including early-stage companies, growth-stage companies, angel investors, strategic investors and institutional investors. Brad regularly assists high growth tech businesses throughout their lifecycle on a broad range of matters, including financings, M&A, corporate governance and commercial contracts.
