Brandon Bonspiel joined Fasken’s Montréal team after completing his second year of the joint BCL/JD program at the McGill Faculty of Law.
Prior to law school, Brandon completed a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in law and society at Concordia University. Brandon also worked in tech for a leading multinational corporation upon completion of his undergraduate degree.
At McGill, Brandon is a member of the McGill Sports and Entertainment Law Association (MSELA) where he serves as VP Publications. He also contributes to Rooted, the journal of the faculty’s Indigenous Law Association. Outside of school, Brandon is a board member of First Nations Paramedics (FNP). FNP serves Brandon’s home territory of Kanehsatake.
A former junior hockey and lacrosse player, Brandon is a sports enthusiast who loves to spend time outdoors. He also enjoys fly fishing, alpine skiing and golfing.
