Overview

Brooke Naomi Levy is a lawyer with the firm’s Labour, Employment & Human Rights group. She practices in all aspects of employment law, including matters relating to hiring, termination of employment, human rights and freedoms, and the application of federal and provincial employment labour standards. Brooke has a particular interest in issues concerning executive employment agreements and equity-based compensation plans, as well the interpretation of non-competition and non-solicitation covenants.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Brooke completed a bachelor’s degree in finance at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business and gained experience in the investment industry. Her background in corporate finance has led her to act as an employment specialist in the context of mergers and acquisitions, including both Canadian and non-Canadian based clients canvassing acquisitions of Québec-based businesses or setting up a Québec-based operation.

Brooke is also a sports and adventure enthusiast having summitted Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Canada.
