Cara Arsenault is an articling student in the firm's Toronto office.
Cara graduated from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she completed a Bilingual Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University, Glendon campus. As an undergraduate, she assisted in the running of and served as project manager in multiple research studies, in topics such as COVID-19, intimate relationships, and virtual reality. The largest of these studies included more than 3,500 participants from 57 different countries. As part of her law school extracurriculars, she acted as a Volunteer Editor with the Queen’s Law Journal. During the summer of 2022, Cara worked in the legal department of a Canadian multinational mining company and continued to work there part-time during her second year of law school. Her work there included policy drafting and revision, contract analysis, legal research, and third-party due diligence. As part of her passion for advocacy and investment in community, she also worked as a Student Caseworker in the Queen’s Law Clinic during her second year and served as a mentor for first year and incoming law students. In her spare time, Cara enjoys building and refurbishing furniture, watercolour painting, and reading.
Cara participated in the Firm’s Summer Secondment Program in 2023, and was seconded to The Kraft Heinz Company.
