Overview

Carmen is a corporate/commercial lawyer practicing in the corporate/commercial group in Fasken’s Vancouver office. She joined the group as an associate in 2023 after summering and articling with Fasken.

Carmen graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022 in the top 6% of her graduating class. While at law school, she received the Osgoode Hall Law School Upper Year Award of Excellence, the Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP Prize, and the Honourable F.H. Barlow Scholarship. She also volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) as a one-to-one tutor and group tutor for high school students in Toronto.

Prior to attending law school, Carmen worked at an immigration and business law firm in Vancouver and also volunteered with Vancouver Coastal Health in a wellness program for the elderly.

In her spare time, Carmen enjoys summer and winter hiking, reading, singing, travelling, and skiing.
