Overview

Catherine Simonet has been a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in the Montréal office since 2011, first as a research lawyer and now as Counsel. She has focused her practice on analyzing and researching large, complex cases and drafting legal arguments for matters to be heard before the Superior Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.

Catherine is known and appreciated for her intellectual rigour and strategic thinking when advising on complex legal issues. Moreover, her in-depth experience in appellate matters is highly valued and, as such, she assists teams in all areas of law as their cases move to higher courts.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Simonet worked as a judicial research lawyer at the Québec Court of Appeal.
