Corry Clark is a Partner in the Surrey office. She practises in the areas of civil litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on commercial, corporate and real estate disputes. She also provides strategic and corporate governance advice to directors and officers of corporations. Corry has appeared as lead counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Corry primarily acts for shareholders and directors of owner-operated businesses, as well as people involved in disputes with respect to land.
Corry works on a wide range of civil litigation matters, but has specialized experience in shareholder and partnership disputes, contract disputes, real estate disputes (including certificates of pending litigation and other clouds on title) and corporate governance issues. She has experience in cases seeking recovery of money, injunctions, preservation orders, special costs, and stays of proceedings. She also has experience in elder law, with a particular interest in acting for prospective patients in committeeship proceedings.
Prior to joining Fasken, Corry practised at another Surrey law firm for over 10 years. Before that, she was at a national law firm practicing commercial litigation. Corry completed her law degree at UBC before completing her clerkship at the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
