Damien Hallé-Hannan is a lawyer in the Corporate/Commercial Group in our Montréal office. His practice covers all aspects of business law and focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, and securities law.
He also represents issuers and brokers in their financing activities, whether by prospectus or private placement.
Damien completed a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) and a Master in business law (LL.M.) with a focus on financial products and capital markets from the Université de Montréal. He also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the Université de Sherbrooke and holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Saint-Mary’s University in Halifax. He swore in as a member of the Barreau du Québec in 2020.
Damien also co-authored a detailed analysis of the disciplinary jurisprudence of self-regulatory organizations on behalf of the Observatoire du droit des marchés financiers of Université de Montréal.
Prior to joining Fasken, Damien practised in the business law group at a leading Canadian law firm.
