Daniel Benaroche is a lawyer working in Fasken’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.
Prior to entering the legal field, he obtained a degree in civil engineering from McGill University, where he was a varsity athlete and actively engaged in various student societies and community groups. He participated in several inter-university competitions, notably achieving 3rd place in the Quebec Engineering Competition with his team.
During his time in engineering, Daniel gained valuable experience working for a large Canadian construction company as an estimator, where he reviewed extensive and highly technical construction contracts.
In law school, he participated and performed well in the Gale Cup and Laskin national mooting competitions, further honing his advocacy skills. Before joining Fasken, he summered at a boutique law firm specializing in derivatives contracts and negotiations.
With a passion for all intellectual property issues, particularly patent litigation, Daniel employs his analytical mindset and critical thinking skills to effectively assist clients with their disputes. His scientific background equips him with a unique understanding of the technical aspects of his clients' needs, allowing him to navigate complex cases with precision. Additionally, his experience with trademark-related matters, including trademark prosecutions, enables him to help clients safeguard and defend their intellectual property rights effectively. Daniel is also involved in regulatory matters related to the pharmaceutical industry, advising clients on compliance and navigating the intricacies of regulatory frameworks that impact their businesses.
