At Fasken, Dan is playing a leadership role in understanding and advising clients on the forces moving Canada inexorably toward a full, clean-energy transition, in particular in the area of clean hydrogen.
With the firm’s recently launched Hydrogen Energy Advisory Team, Dan is leading a first of its kind comprehensive service offering to advise companies participating in and profiting from the transition to clean hydrogen to displace carbon-intensive energy.
Daniel is also the founder and Chair of H2GO Canada, a not-for-profit corporation expressly focused on accelerating development hydrogen markets in Canada.

With his deep understanding of the decision-making processes of governments, Dan works to develop and execute strategies that effectively manage risks to client interests, or helps exploit client opportunities associated in the decisions of governments.
