Daniel practises in the areas of insolvency law and real property litigation.
Daniel’s insolvency law practice focuses on bankruptcy, receivership and restructuring proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. Also, Daniel helps clients assert contractual claims, exercise creditors’ rights, and recover debts.
Daniel’s real property litigation practice focuses on mortgagee and tenant rights and priorities, rights of first refusal, options to purchase, vendors' liens, easement and title matters, boundary disputes, and adverse possession claims.
Through Pro Bono Ontario, Daniel regularly assists unrepresented litigants by volunteering both as duty counsel at the Toronto Small Claims Court and with the Free Legal Advice Hotline.
