Overview

Ebony Rose is the Assistant Director, Continuing Legal Education in the Toronto office. Ebony manages the direction, design and implementation of the continuing legal education program for associates and partners at the firm. 

Prior to joining the Professional Development team at Fasken, Ebony spent her summers completing international legal internships in East Africa, and then completed her articles in the legal department of a leading Canadian bank. She then worked as a commercial litigation associate at a large law firm, where she primarily advised and represented banks in disputes. Following her role as a litigation associate, Ebony began her career in legal education, professional development and policy. She worked at a law school, where she oversaw curriculum and program design for LLM programs, and assisted LLM students with career coaching and academic advising. Most recently, Ebony worked as a Policy Lawyer with a law association. In this role, she managed the professional development and advocacy initiatives for a broad cross-section of lawyers from various practice areas.
