Emma Peress joined the Fasken team in Montréal after completing her second year of law school at McGill University.
During her studies, Emma actively participated in various extracurricular activities and served as the Vice-President of External Affairs for the McGill Law Negotiation Club (MLNC).
Before pursuing a legal education, Emma completed a degree in Social Work from McGill. She graduated with distinction, on the Dean's Honour List, and was invited to join the Golden Key International Honor Society. Emma’s commitment to community involvement involvement led her to work with McGill’s Joint-Board Senate Committee on Equity and at Youth Protection (DYP).
Emma also had the opportunity to intern at a law firm in Los Angeles, where she gained valuable legal experience.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Emma enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
