What fundamental questions should the buyer and seller ask themselves when deciding whether an asset transition is appropriate?
During the seminar, we will discuss strategic considerations and the advantages and disadvantages of this type of transaction for both the buyer and the seller. These considerations include the preliminary elements that the buyer should validate during due diligence prior to confirming its decision, the tax treatment and the complexity of an asset transfer, be it operational or regulatory. The speakers will then review the important elements that must be addressed in an asset transaction or sale in light of certain risks, including those related to specific industries.
