The Investment Management team of our Montréal office invites you to a Lunch and Learn on the final amendments to Regulation 31-103 providing registrants the opportunity to discuss the consequences of these amendments on their activities.
On October 3rd 2019, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) published the final amendments to Regulation 31-103 on Registration Requirements, Exemptions and Ongoing Registrant Obligations and its Policy Statement, known as “Client Focused Reforms”. Registrants will have to review their practices in anticipation of the coming into force of these amendments. The amendments are expected to come into force on December 31st, 2019, but their implementation will be subject to a two-year transition period, with the exception of certain changes to the relationship between disclosure informations and conflicts of interest which will come into force on December 31st, 2020.
This Lunch and Learn will certainly be of interest to all registrants. Do not hesitate to send us in advance any questions that you would like us to answer in connection with the final amendments.
