Procurement Webinar Series
Canada is not only the United States’ closest neighbor, but the two countries also share similar business practices, a common language, and an excellent trading relationship. This makes Canada an ideal market for US companies and a unique opportunity to sell to the Canadian government.
Unlike the U.S. government, the Canadian federal government does not have a comprehensive set of regulations similar to the U.S. Federal Acquisitions Regulations, making the Canadian procurement landscape difficult to navigate. The federal government response to the COVID-19 Pandemic is also resulting in immediate and long-term changes to the way that it procures goods and services from industry.
In this two-part series, Marcia Mills, Andrew House, Shannon Kristjanson and Faye Voight from Fasken's Procurement Group will provide an overview of how federal procurement in Canada works, explore how federal procurement may change in the future, and present ways to best position your company for success. This program will be moderated by Neil Kravitz, Co-Leader of Fasken’s U.S. Practice.
