On the eve of the American Presidential Inauguration, many questions remain regarding the impact of the Biden Administration on Canadian Climate Change policies and clean technology opportunities in the United States. Fasken, along with Canadian Climate Change Boutique Law Firm Resilient LLP (formerly DeMarco Allan LLP) and US Environmental Law Firm, Beveridge & Diamond PC, will provide insight as both the Canadian and American governments grapple with transitioning to a sustainable, lower carbon economy.

Expert panelists from both sides of the border will discuss what’s in store for:

  • Carbon Markets: The Impact of Voluntary Commitments and the Future of Compliance Markets
  • Investor Expectations and Climate Change Disclosure Obligations: Climate Related ESG  and the Requirements of TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
  • Clean Tech Opportunities in the US for Canadian Companies
