Overview

To receive a copy of the materials from this event, please contact events@fasken.com

Our speakers have developed a comprehensive understanding of some of the most legal constraints specific to the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), related to introducing and developing client projects, especially in the mining industry.

The objective of this webinar is to present a matrix of the main risks that Fasken has developed over time and which aims to quickly identify the potential blocking elements of a transaction based on a derisking approach while minimizing the legal costs related to project development in the OHADA space. Beyond legal and regulatory risks, we will also discuss the cultural, commercial and geopolitical risks that you may encounter in the OHADA space by sharing our experiences and real challenges we have faced.
