Overview

In this session we will continue our discussion of how the increased awareness of social justice goals impacts workplace investigations. In this presentation, our speakers will review key concepts and movements and how they continue to practically impact your workplace investigations. The importance of ensuring you have a current awareness of terminology and symbols when communicating about and conducting investigations will also be addressed.

We will lead an informative discussion on the following:

  • Latest case law and federal update
  • Investigations and intersectionality
  • How to address historic allegations
  • The continuing importance of procedural fairness
  • Conducting an investigation in a sensitive manner and considering lived experience
