Over the last few years, events of cyber disruptions have demonstrated the potential for far reaching impacts, ranging from unauthorized access to industrial secrets and consequent lost of business value to supply chain poisoning attacks involving operational activities, and even, threats to human life, highlighting the convergence of convergence of information technology (“IT”) and operational technology (“OT”). This convergence is dual-edged, as it can lead to opportunities to better manage risks holistically, but it can also contribute to the cascading of risks between IT/OT through an extended attack surface that allows risks to cascade from IT to OT, and vice versa. This session seeks to provides an in-depth and multidisciplinary advices on meaningful strategic risk planning from industry experts.
