The presentation will discuss key concerns and potential pitfalls for Canadians doing business in foreign jurisdictions, focusing on developing countries, and key considerations within relevant Canadian legislation when dealing in foreign jurisdictions.

10:50 am - 11:50 am Reconciliation in Canada: Striving for Equity
Guest Speaker: Chris McLeod, CEO, NVision Insight Group
In this session we will explore the path toward reconciliation in Canada including perspectives from Indigenous communities, leaders and knowledge keepers. Reconciliation requires participation from every person, business and organization in this country and a commitment to support the TRC Calls to Action and the principles of UNDRIP. We will explore practical examples of reconciliation and some of the ideas around how individuals, groups and entities can take reconciliation action today.
This program contains 1 EDI Professionalism Hour.
