Fasken’s Labour, Employment and Human Rights group is pleased to invite you to a seminar on the reform of the Act respecting occupational health and safety and the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases, adopted by the Assemblée nationale du Québec.
The labour market has evolved considerably in recent years, prompting major changes in traditional relationships between workers and employers. An Act to modernize the occupational health and safety regime was adopted as a result, which is significantly modernizing the regime.
Our speakers will discuss the amendments already in force, but will focus on those coming into force on October 6, 2022, and on January 1, 2023, April 6, 2023, and January 1, 2024. This presentation therefore defines the key changes affecting both the prevention and compensation of employment injuries.
