This Fasken Series brings notable guests to share their experiences and explore ideas around equity, diversity and inclusion in the legal industry and beyond.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we invite you to join us for The Spark Series: Navigating Personal and Professional Obstacles with Christine Elliott on Wednesday, March 8.
Christine Elliott is Counsel with the Fasken Health Law group in our Toronto office. From 2018 to 2022, she played an integral part in overseeing Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic as the province’s Minister of Health. She spent time in the private sector and was a founding partner of the law firm Flaherty, Dow, Elliott & McCarthy. Along with being active on boards and volunteering with charities, Christine is the co-founder of Abilities Centre in Whitby, Ontario, which supports and celebrates the abilities of all people and is a place where everyone belongs, regardless of their challenges.
In conversation with Sandeep Tatla, Fasken’s Chief Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Christine will share the challenges and highlights of her career in both the private and public sectors. The discussion will touch on:
- Managing through challenges in high pressure roles
