Our first session in this series will cover contracts and what to do if the deal you papered isn’t the deal you intended. This session will cover:

  • The law of mistake in contract
  • The law of rectification in contract
  • The blue pencil test and severance
  • Ambiguity and the doctrine of contra proferentem

Once again, our panellists will provide an overview of the common law on these issues and highlight any differences from the Quebec civil perspective.
