The panel will discuss the transformative impact of AI and automation in the mining industry. We plan to explore the unique challenges of (i) contracting for advanced automated machinery and AI systems, such as imaging and automated drilling technologies; (ii) the distinct differences between acquiring these avant-garde solutions and traditional mining products; and (iii) the evolving regulatory landscape that impacts the implementation of such solutions.
Intended Audience: operational and legal teams both in mining and service providers and AI product vendors.
