Overview

Client

Appetronix

Appetronix, a London, Ontario-based foodtech company specializing in autonomous robotic kitchen systems, has closed a $6 million seed-plus round, bringing the company’s total seed funding raised to over $10 million.

The investment was led by AlleyCorp and the Grote family, marking AlleyCorp’s third investment in the company. Appetronix will use the capital to accelerate deployment of its modular robotic kitchen concepts across non-commercial foodservice environments such as airports, hospitals, universities, and entertainment venues. The company’s technology addresses key industry challenges including labor shortages, consistency, and scalability, while preserving brand integrity. Appetronix’s successful pilot with Donatos Pizza at John Glenn Columbus International Airport has validated its model and set the stage for rapid expansion.

Fasken advised Appetronix with a team comprised of Will Shaw, Alec McIlwraith Black, and Satnam Singh Dosanjh.
