Jamie Marcello is an articling student in the firm's Toronto office.
Jamie graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Jamie completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Studies and a Certificate in Law at Queen’s University, where she was on the Dean’s List for four consecutive years and graduated with Distinction. Throughout law school, Jamie was a Staff Editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies, a student-run journal focusing on Canadian and International law, and was awarded the J.S.D Tory Writing Prize in her second year. She served as the Vice President of the Western Real Estate Law Association and worked as a caseworker for the Western Community Legal Services clinic, where she managed a variety of client files, provided summary advice under the guidance of supervising lawyers, drafted correspondence, conducted client intakes, and represented clients before small claims court. In her final year of law school, Jamie participated in an international exchange at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys cooking, listening to true crime podcasts, and reading.
Jamie participated in the Firm’s Summer Secondment Program in 2023, and was seconded to Stryker.
