Jean-Philippe Boileau is a partner in the Real Estate group of the Montréal office. He joined the firm in 2024 after co-founding a legal services firm in the Laurentians. His practice focuses mainly on acquisition, sale and financing transactions, in addition to the planning and development of real estate projects including mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial buildings as well as hotels and resorts.
As part of his practice, Jean-Philippe advises property owners, operators of recreational tourism projects (ski resorts and golf courses), hotel operators, real estate promoters, developers, families, individuals as well as public and private institutions on various real estate transactions, heritage protection matters, development strategies and land conservation issues.
He has gained valuable experience in property title reviews, implementation of real estate project structures, shared services agreements, servitudes and other real rights. He has contributed to the development of several major real estate projects in Québec, primarily in the greater Laurentians region.
Jean-Philippe graduated from the University of Ottawa in Civil Law (LL.L, Magna cum laude) and holds a graduate diploma in Notarial Law (D.D.N.) from the Université de Montréal.
