Jean-Raphaël Champagne advises clients on issues related to commercial, regulatory and competition law. He assists a wide variety of players in the technology and life sciences sectors. He has extensive experience drafting and reviewing contracts, with respect to regulatory compliance with Health Canada and the rules governing clinical trials, research and ethical standards applicable to the pharmaceutical and medtech industries. He also counsels' clients on cannabis-related issues.
Jean-Raphaël advises clients on the complex regulatory framework applicable to patient support programs in Canada. He is often called upon to provide legal input on market access strategies and solve pricing and reimbursement questions.
He also assists clients with strategic aspects and issues arising from competition law.
He has participated in many start-ups in several high-technology sectors. Jean-Raphaël has also led several major licensing deals as well as purchase and sale transactions involving private financings and technology transfers.
He is co-author of "The Pharma Legal Handbook – Canada".
