Overview

Joshua Vito is currently attending Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Management from the University of Guelph, graduating with Distinction.

At Guelph, Josh balanced his studies with leadership and extracurricular commitments, serving as President of the Public Management Students’ Association and competing as a member of the debate team for the University of Guelph’s JDCC team. Between undergrad and law school, Josh worked on Parliament Hill as a Special Assistant to the Director of Policy for the Federal Government House Leader, Minister Mark Holland, and as a Legislative and Parliamentary Assistant to the Member of Parliament for Guelph, Lloyd Longfield. In the summer of 2024, he worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Joanna Langille, focusing on areas such as choice of law doctrines and trade laws. He also spent a month volunteering in the Office of the City Solicitor for Cambridge, assisting with prosecutions under the Provincial Offences Act. Josh is actively involved in the Western Law community, having participated in several moots and serving as the 2L Representative on the Student Legal Society. He is also the Vice President of Finance for the Italian Legal Society.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
