Overview

Julie Delisle is the Senior Director, Commercial and Related Services for Fasken’s Montréal and Québec City offices.

Recognized as a strategic growth leader with solid teamwork and analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen, Julie leads the Paralegal Services, Linguistic Services, Immigration Services and Intellectual Property Agency teams, comprised of over 130 professionals.

Julie is responsible for managing administrative and strategic matters such as the recruitment, training, professional development and performance evaluation of her team members, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and the preparation and analysis of financial and statistical reports on her team’s profitability.

In her day-to-day role, Julie works closely with the Managing Partner, the General Manager and the practice group leaders for the Québec region to identify opportunities for improvement. She also represents the firm as an active member of the legal community in various groups and associations.

With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, Julie acted as Director of Corporate Services for another law firm in Montréal, and as a Business Law and Litigation Paralegal for law firms and in-house legal departments. Her expertise has led her to be involved in a variety of major commercial transactions. She also served on non-profit boards for several years.
Julie has been a member of the International Practice Management Association (IPMA) since 2009. She has served as President of the Montreal Chapter and Co-Chair of the IPMA Conference Committee and, since 2022, has been elected to the IPMA Board of Directors as Vice-President, Division III, Chapter Development and Support.

Julie has in-depth understanding of her clients’ legal needs and goals. Versatile and hardworking, she thrives on challenges and inspires members of her team to always go above and beyond. Collaboration and problem solving are two fundamental values that she embraces.
