Overview

Madeleine MacLean is an articling student in the firm's Toronto office.

Madeleine graduated from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, where she was on the Dean’s Honour List. While in law school, Maddie was the Health and Wellness Representative for the Law Students’ Society, an Editor for the Faculty of Law’s peer- reviewed law journal, and a Volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada. She was also the recipient of the Betty and Gilbert Kennedy Scholarship in Law for academic achievement, and placed first at the 2021 UBC Environmental Law Negotiation Competition. Maddie’s prior work experience includes a legal internship at one of Canada’s largest institutional investment management corporations. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys card games, skiing, and reformer Pilates, and is an avid Leafs fan.

Madeleine participated in the Firm’s Summer Secondment Program in 2023, and was seconded to a client.
