Mathieu Kiriakos is a lawyer in the Corporate/Commercial law group of our Montréal office. He holds a bachelor's degree in law from Université Laval and a Juris Doctor in common law and transnational law from Université de Sherbrooke and has a keen interest in technological innovation. Mathieu also completed a Master's degree (L.L.M.) in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at Cornell, where he co-founded a company and contributed to studies in AI in the finance sector.
Drawing on his experience in various projects, he has contributed to a number of research projects that have led to publications in the Canadian Health Policy journal, CIRANO's scientific journal, and for the Jeune Barreau de Montréal's information technology committee.
His latest contribution, as part of a project in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), was aimed at developing practices to strengthen digital health structures in Mali.
In parallel with his studies, Mathieu was Vice-President of Finance for the Laval University chapter of Lawyers Without Borders Canada and was also a member of Scout Canada for over 15 years.
