Musa Mansuar is an articling student in the firm's Toronto office.
Musa graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was awarded the Caleb J. Hayhoe Prize for the highest standing in the International Business Transactions course. Prior to law school, Musa worked as a legislative aide to a Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Secretary, where he supported the research and publication of reports of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance. This included studies of Budget Implementation Acts as well as Canada’s Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regime. Musa also worked in the Office of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, where he conducted legal research and helped advance key policy and operational files. Musa received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph, graduating on the Dean’s List. He also obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. His dissertation analyzed the strategic implications of trade and defence agreements between the United States and nations in East Asia and the Pacific. In his spare time, Musa enjoys playing football and basketball, as well as reading a compelling history book.
Musa participated in the Firm’s Summer Secondment Program in 2023, and was seconded to IAMGOLD Corporation.
