Montréal (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that it advised Southfield Capital and the shareholders of RCR International in the completion of its sale to Peak Rock Capital.

Based in Boucherville, Québec, RCR International is a leading manufacturer, marketer and value-added distributor of home insulation, flooring and utility products. Southfield Capital, a private investment firm, acquired a majority stake in RCR International in April 2006.

We are proud to have been Southfield's legal advisors in this investment over the years," said Peter Villani, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group leader and lead lawyer.

Fasken Martineau acted as legal advisor to Southfield Capital with a team led by Peter Villani that included Joëlle El-Féghali, Jean-Philippe Mikus, Claude E. Jodoin, Frédéric Barriault and Chloé Archambault.
