Fasken Martineau advises TVA Group, a subsidiary of Quebecor Media, on its acquisition of all the assets of Vision Globale.

Montréal (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that it advised TVA Group, a subsidiary of Quebecor Media, on its acquisition of all the assets of Vision Globale for a total of approximately $118 million.

The transaction is subject to Competition Bureau approval. The acquired operations will become part of TVA Group in the media group segment of Quebecor Media.

TVA Group, a subsidiary of Quebecor Media, is an integrated communications company engaged in the creation, production and distribution of audiovisual products, and in magazine publishing.

Vision Globale is a Canadian film and television-related services provider.

As part of this transaction, TVA Group was represented internally by Marc Tremblay, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Public Affairs and Corporate Secretary; Christian Marcoux, Director, Legal Affairs, Financing and M&A; Dominique Poulin-Gouin, Director, Corporate Secretariat and Assistant Secretary Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretariat; and Dominique Fortin, Director, Compliance, M&A and Assistant Secretary Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretariat.
