Fasken Martineau  has won “Mining Deal of the Year” and “ Cross-Border Restructuring Deal of the Year” (up to $100MM) at the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards last night in Palm Beach, Florida.

Toronto (Canada) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, has won “Mining Deal of the Year” and “ Cross-Border Restructuring Deal of the Year” (up to $100MM) at the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards last night in Palm Beach, Florida.

The awards recognize the exceptional work done by Fasken Martineau on Whitebox’s purchase of Veris Gold assets. Fasken Martineau represented Whitebox throughout the transaction, facilitating the acquisition of Veris Gold’s operating and real estate assets, most notably a gold and milling project in Nevada. Having already won M&A Advisors’s “Real Estate Deal of the Year Award” in November, the deal has once again been highlighted as a significant transaction.
