Toronto (Canada) – Fasken received two major awards at the seventh annual LMG Life Sciences Awards ceremony, held September 18 in New York City. Awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging Life Sciences work in the past year.
The Firm took home the award for “Canadian Product Liability Firm of the Year 2019”. Fasken is widely recognized as one of the top product liability firms in Canada. LMG has named Fasken Canadian Life Sciences Product Liability Firm of the Year in three of the past six years, Led by Peter Pliszka, Chair of our Product Liability group and Co-Chair of our Life Sciences group, Fasken is regularly retained as national counsel to defend pharmaceutical, medical device and food companies in product liability lawsuits – both class actions and individual lawsuits – across Canada.
