Montréal (Canada) – Fasken announces the arrival of Alain M. Leclerc, new Partner and Patent Agent, in the Intellectual Property practice group of the Montréal office.
Alain specializes in writing and obtaining patents in Canada and abroad. In addition to his many patent prosecution proceedings, his expertise is sought in the areas of intellectual property litigation, due diligence, strategy, portfolio value creation and licensing. He is particularly active in the patent field and has appeared before the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Alain is Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). He is also a member of the Canadian Patent Agent Examination Standards Committee.
