Fasken Names New Chair of Its Partnership Board

Overview

Toronto (Canada) Katherine M. Pollock has succeeded Luc Béliveau as the Chair of Fasken’s  Partnership Board, effective January 1, 2021. As the representatives of the partners of the Firm, the Partnership Board has the responsibility and accountability for establishing the strategic direction of the Firm, and for overseeing its implementation.

Katherine has been with Fasken throughout the entirety of her career. After graduating from the University of Winnipeg and Osgoode Hall Law School, she articled with the Firm in 1986 to 1987 and joined the Labour, Employment and Human Rights (LEHR) group as its third member in in 1988. Since then, Katherine has had a long and illustrious career as a trusted adviser to many Fasken clients.

She has provided her knowledge and skills to various committees and programs across the Firm. Outside of Fasken, Katherine is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Tarragon Theatre and a former Director of Outward Bound Canada and the ALS Society of Ontario.
