Surrey (Canada) – Fasken welcomes Partner Elyssa L. Lockhart to the Estate Planning Group in the BC Region.
Elyssa is a Wills, Trusts, Estates and Corporate solicitor. Elyssa assists clients with obtaining grants of probate and the administration of estates, and drafts wills, trusts and related asset restructuring documents. In her corporate practice, she advises owner/operators on structure and governance issues associated with incorporation, sale and acquisition of corporate assets and of corporations themselves, as well as succession planning and transition of ownership in family businesses. She has significant experience in reorganizations and advises on estate freezes and other transactions involving tax-driven corporate planning.
